A tasty and traditional cake..This is my first attempt and it came out so perfect.I was not confident while making,but the result was wonderful.On last Ramzan I had it from an Iftar party and just loved the taste and asked for the recipe,tested and now sharing with you..Do try it out..
Bengal gram/Kadala parippu/chana dal:4 tsp(Pressure cooked for 1 whistle)
Milk powder:2 tsp
Cardamom powder:1/4 tsp
1.Soak chana dal in water for 2 hours and pressure cook it for 1 whistle by adding water..
2.Drain water and blend well by adding eggs,sugar,milk powder and cardamom powder.(You can add few tablespoons of condensed milk if u want)
3.Pour this to the greased cake tin and steam cook (i used double boiling method) for about 20 minutes.
