Oats Payasam / Oats Kheer

Earlier I have posted a smoothie with oats.Here I am posting Oats Payasam / Oats Kheer which you can prepare quickly.I added Nestle Milk Maid and it tastes better.
Ingredients
Oats:1/2 cup
Milk:3/4 Cup
Condensed Milk:1/4 Cup
Cardamom:1
Cashew nuts and raisins:few
Sugar to taste
Ghee:2 tsp

Cheera Thoran / Spinach Stir Fry

Ingredients
Cheera/Spinach:1 bunch(cleaned and chopped)
Garlic:4-5 pods,finely chopped
Shallots/Small onions:5-6,finely sliced
Grated Coconut;3-4 tsp
Green Chillies:2
Salt to taste
Coconut oil:2 tsp

Cold Coffee


Ingredients
Milk:1 Cup
Instant Coffee Powder : 1 1/2 tsp(adjust to taste)
Sugar:3 tsp
Cream:1/4 Cup
Ice cubes:2

Chicken Filled Crepes

Ingredients for Crepes
Maida:1/2 cup
Water:1 Cup(To make a loose batter)
Salt


Ingredients for Chicken Mixture 
Chicken:few medium pieces.
Pepper powder:1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder:1/4 tsp 
Salt to taste.
Cabbage:1/4 Cup,Sliced
Onion:1/4 Cup,Sliced
Tomato:1/4 Cup,Cut into small pieces
Carrot:1/4 Cup,grated
Bell Pepper/Capsicum:1/4 of 1 ,diced into small cubes(optional)
Pepper Powder: a pinch
Salt a pinch
Mayonnaise: 3-4 tsp

Gopi Manchurian Gravy

Ingredients for Manchurian
Cauliflower: 1 medium sized cut into florets placed in salted hot water for 10-12 minutes, drained
Corn flour : 3 tablespoons
All purpose flour / Maida: 5 ts
Ginger garlic paste:1/4 tsp
Chilli powder : 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil for frying

Coffee Pudding

I am a coffee lover..!!!. Love the aroma spreads while making coffee.The smell of coffee triggers feelings of wakefulness.
I guarantee ,the coffee lovers  will love this!.


Ingredients
Milk:1/4 liter
Condensed milk:1/4 tin
Sugar:as needed
Agar-agar /China grass strands: 6 g
Instant Coffee powder:1/2 tsp

Hot water:2 tsp
Pearl balls:few optional(for decoration)

Orange Cake

Ingredients
All purpose flour:1 Cup
Baking powder:1/4 tsp
Eggs:2
Unsalted Butter:40 gm
Sugar :1 Cup
Orange Zest:1 1/2 tsp (chopped finely) 
Cardamom powder:A pinch
Orange juice:1/2 Cup
Pistachios:few,chopped(optional)

Cauliflower / Gopi Fry

Ingredients
Cauliflower florets - 1 Cup
Corn Flour - 1 tsp

Maida / All Purpose flour - 1 tsp
Ginger-Garlic paste - 1/2 tsp

Lemon Juice - 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp 
Salt - As per taste
Baking soda - A pinch (optional)
Oil - For frying 

Veeshiyappam / Egg Dosa

Ingredients
Basmati Rice:1 Cup
Egg:2
Coconut Milk:1 Cup
Water as needed
Salt to taste
Ingredients
 1.Soak rice in water at least for 6 hours.
2.Grind rice in Coconut Milk.Add water also.The batter should be watery.

Chakkakkuru/Jackfruit Seed and Kaya Upperi


This is a dish made out of ingredients easily available in home, hence these are free from chemicals and highly injurious preservatives.We all love to eat the yummy and exotic fruit,,the jack fruit but most of us throw away the seeds without realizing the proteins and nutrients packed in it.It is fiber rich seed containing carbohydrates. The potassium content in the seed helps to lower the blood pressure level.This seed helps in preventing cancer, ulcer, constipation and aging. It is a good food to fight against obesity as well. So,I am sure this is a dish worth trying.

Here I used raw banana with jack fruit seed,you can choose drumstick,bitter gourd,snake gourd(padavalanga) etc.

Papaya Curry

Papaya is a fruit which has a wide range of health benefits and medicinal properties making it a great option to include in your diet.This can be used in many different ways. The raw papaya can be eaten as is, added to a fruit salad and the green or unripe papaya is used to make curry and side dishes.The chief ingredient here is raw papaya and the curry base is a spiced coconut paste.Have it with rice,some thoran or upperi,pickle and a spicy fish fry makes a perfect healthy meal.
